Exciting news for Pakistani cinema fans as we can watch the country’s superhero film Project Ghazi online! The film is our nation’s first ever attempt at a superhero genre.
And that’s not all! To enjoy Project Ghazi, you don’t need to subscribe to some streaming service. In fact, the whole film is available to audiences worldwide on the popular video-sharing platform, YouTube!
Directed by Nadir Shah, the film is an admirable attempt by the Pakistani entertainment industry to take on the challenging science fiction (sci-fi) genre.
Project Ghazi details
The story of Project Ghazi revolves around a team of scientists working with the Pakistan Army to develop super-soldiers. Yes, you heard it right, it is very likely that we’ll be getting a desi Captain America (or Kaptaan Pakistan) origin story!
Although, this isn’t the first time premiere of the film as Project Ghazi was slated to release all the way back in 2017. But the film’s release was canceled due to some technical difficulties.
Distributed by IMGC, the film was re-released back last year but did not fare well at the box office, raking in only Rs 2 crores. The reason behind the shortcoming of the superhero film may be due to the lack of marketing and delays in the film’s release.
