Pakistani dramas are watched all over the world. Good scripts, a relatively small number of episodes and realistic acting and makeup is what pulls the audience towards dramas. With all the hits of the season nearing their ends while other dramas are becoming drags, another crop of Pakistani dramas is all set to come out on television. Here is a list of Top Upcoming Pakistani Dramas 2024:
1. Sun Mere Dil:
Sun Mere Dil is a mega-budget drama that is coming soon on Geo. It has huge star power backing it as we will be seeing Maya Ali, Wahaj Ali, Hira Mani and Usama Khan in the leads. The drama is written by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar while the director is Haseeb Hassan.
2. Gentleman:
Gentleman is another mega project that will air on Green TV. The drama stars Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Zahid Ahmed, Ahmed Ali Butt, Yumna Zaidi and Sohai Ali Abro in major characters. This is another Khalil ur Rehman Qamar project and it is helmed by Haissam Hussain.
3. Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo:
Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo is written by Farhat Ishtiaq and it has nearly all the big stars in the industry. It is Pakistan’s first Netflix series and we have Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Maya Ali, Iqra Aziz, Ahad Raza Mir, Khushhal Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Hania Aamir and many others in the cast.
4. Teri Meri Kahani:
Fahad Mustafa is making a comeback on television and this time his leading lady is none other than Hania Aamir. The drama is titled Teri Meri Kahani and it is written by Farhat Ishtiaq while the director is Badar Mehmood.
5. Radd:
Radd is bringing another superstar to the drama screen. Radd’s teasers are also out. It will star Sheheryar Munawar, Hiba Bukhari and Arsalan Naseer in the lead roles. The drama was supposed to be done by Syra Yousuf but she later on did not do it and Hiba took the role. It is written by Sanam Mehdi Zaryab and directed by Ahmed Bhatti.
6. Jaffa:
Jaffa also brings on a strong star cast. It has Mawra Hocane, Sehar Khan, Usman Mukhtar and Mohib Mirza in the leads. This will air on Hum TV and it is directed by Danish Nawaz.
7. Ghair:
Ghair is another big one which will air on ARY. The drama has Ushna Shah, Usama Khan and Adeel Hussain in the leads. Written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah, Ghair is directed by Yasir Nawaz.
8. Noor Jehan:
Noor Jehan is another upcoming ARY project and it has Kubra Khan, Ali Rehman Khan and Noor Hassan in the lead roles. The drama is written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Musaddiq Malik.
9. Parindey:
Parindey is an upcoming drama on Hum TV and it will star Azaan Sami Khan, Kinza Hashmi and Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz in the leads. The drama is written by Bee Gul and it will be directed by Aabis Raza.
10. Teri Chaon Main:
Danish Taimoor is doing another Hum TV drama and he will star alongside Laiba Khurram who is a newcomer from social media.
11. Sargoshiyan:
Imran Abbas and Sadia Khan are coming back together after a decade in the upcoming drama on Green TV. The drama is written by Edison Idress Maseeh and the director is Fahim Burney.
12. Let’s Try Muhabbat:
Mawra Hocane, Gohar Rasheed and Danyal Zafar are starring in Let’s Try Muhabbat. The drama is directed by Angeline Malik and this will be a mini-series.
13. Haroon Kadwani-Komal Meer:
Haroon Kadwani was last seen in Jhoom alongside Zara Noor Abbas and now he will be coming back on Geo TV with Komal Meer. It is written by Nooran Makhdoom and the director is Syed Wajahat Hussain.
14. Jaan Se Pyara Joni:
Jaan Se Pyara Joni will star Hira Mani, Mamya Shajaffar and Zahid Ahmed. It is written by Aliya Bukhari and directed by Meer Sikandar. It will be airing soon after Eid.
15. Eyyubi:
Turkish-Pakistani joint production Selahuddin Eyyibi will soon air on Hum TV.
16. Jaan Nisar:
Jaan Nisar is another upcoming project starring Danish Taimoor and Hiba Bukhari. This will bring the Deewangi hit pair back on television. Written by Rehana Aftab and directed by Mohsin Mirza, it will air on Geo.
17.Zard Patton Ka Band:
Zard Patton Ka Band stars Sajal Aly and Hamza Sohail in lead roles. The drama is written by Mustafa Afridi and directed by Saife Hassan. It will air on Hum TV.
