Oppo A3 Pro belongs to the brand’s new line of mid-range phones placed well above the OPPO F series. It launched about two weeks ago as a China-first edition. The phone’s specifications are predictably basic. But the chipset powering it is built on a high-efficiency wafer. Here’s the low down.
Design
Sporting a stunning look and sleek glass-leather chassis, the Oppo A3 Pro has a thin, light profile weighing in at 182g. The shell is polished, chamfered, and painted in solid pink, blue, and mint editions. It’s clean save for the circle-shaped camera island, featuring a three-lens camera.
Camera
The 64MP main camera works in tandem with a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie snapper. The array can zoom digitally saving sharp, cropped shots. You can capture splendid software-generated images using the ‘Ultra Clear Mode’.
And what would an Oppo flagship be without a selfie-focused build? The Oppo 5G latest mobile is no different with its clear 8MP front camera, Ultra Night Selfie Mode, and other beauty features.
Display
Its 6.7” AMOLED screen has a punch hole cut into it and gives an FHD+ resolution with an 89.4% screen-to-body ratio. Oppo has embedded a ‘Hidden Fingerprint reader’ that unlocks the device from above the screen.
Performance
Mediatek Dimensity 7050 handles processing behind the scenes, and your apps and data are loaded onto 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage. Its 5000 mAh battery is supported by 67W PD Charge 3.0 which can power up your phone from 0 to 50% in only 20 minutes.
When you’re gaming, switch to ‘Hyper Boost’ and get better frame rates and touch performance. Oppo preloads the Reno 3 with Android 14-based ColorOS 14. It enters the global market with an 8/256GB version, starting anywhere around 260 euros (translating to PKR 77,000).
